boat

A small vessel propelled by water.

His: Later

Hers: Mmmm did I want to walk to the river in the rain this morning, I think not! It would be much drier hunting for a boat in the house. I eventually found this one under Matt's bed, hence the thick layer of dust. He bought it when we were on holiday in the Isle of Wight a few years ago. I just discovered what the Av button was on my camera last night so I thought I would have a play with it today. I must find out what all the other buttons do too as I am ashamed to say that after 3 years I only know what the flower, person and mountain buttons are.

The visit from the in laws went well last night and they seemed to enjoy the meal. The food in Oman is really expensive so they don't get to have many treats out there so were really pleased with meringue and ice cream last night - I couldn't think of anything else as Robert can't eat wheat. We got to see all the photos from Cyclone Gonu that they were in last week. They were stuck in the house for 2 days and then had 6 days with no Air Con or water in temperatures of nearly 50 degrees so it can't have been much fun. The devastation across the whole coastal region of Oman is immense they have not have a cyclone since 1975 so were not prepared for it at all. Even with all that going on they managed to bring us gifts mine was a beautiful bracelet that I will try to take a photo of later.

Pete is off to the hospital this afternoon to see his Kidney Doctor for his 4 monthly review, get his test results and pick up more epo injections, so fingers crossed that it will all be good.

Great photo, that's a really unusual perspective which looks great with the long mast. :)

Didn't even think of hunting down some boats in the house. We both cheated and used old photos. Love the perspective.

Love the angle of your photo, a totally fab shot. Can't see any dust though, lol!

The photo taken in Oman really shows the trail of damage the weather can do, totally devastating.

Good luck with the kidney obs. :-)
