Mary, Mary Quite Contrary..

How does your garden grow? Well mine grows very well with no silver bells, a few shells and nothing at all in a row. I think I have shown most of my garden at one time or another and you have probably gathered by now that I love my garden. Not so keen on gardening though which is a bit of a problem but I get round it with a little bit of help of my own contrary Mary in the form of my Mum (who is called Mary). Apart from my veggies and fruit this is my favourite part of the garden.

The shelves are some pieces of slate that we found and put up there. In the summer we put candles on the shelves but at the moment this little guy is the only thing living on them.

Well I went and got pampered yesterday afternoon and ended up having all my hair chopped off. It's something I have been thinking about for a while now and I am so glad I have done it. I washed my hair this morning and it took seconds to dry and it didn't even need styling, how fantastic is that!! I'm sure it will take a while to get used to as I have not had short hair for over 12 years now but so far I love it. I might even take part in the SPS tomorrow.

I do like your shelf, and your little dude who lives on there.

And you'd better play along with SPS tomorrow, you cant have a hair cut and not share.

And how cool are the books! And how fast did it come! Quick, place your order!

Please could you loan your mum out for a while for exactly the same reasons - love the garden but not keen on gardening!

I used to love gardening . . . then I found scrapbooking etc!! Like you I love the garden but not the hardwork.

I can imagine candles lit on those shelves, the sound of laughter and jugs full of rich red wine!

Great shots.

Can't wait to see you new hairdo.

Thanks for our comments . . . Sue
